installed Apache server 2.2 on my computer and when I typed in localhost in my browser, it just kept loading for over 20 minutes. I still can't open localhost in my browser. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem please? Localhost won't open so I can not even see the apache success message.
Please give me suggestions. Thank you.
Apache server starts and runs quite well. It shows in my taskbar and it does not give me any error messages. The only problem is that when I try to access localhost through my browser, it just keeps loading forever. During installation, I used servername: localhost

I don't know what the problem could be. All I want to do is to be able to open localhost and see the "It works!" message in the browser so I can be sure everything works ok.
