I've been using Microsoft Office through Vista on my Dell Inspiron 1545 for about a year now, and it's worked great for the majority of that time. About a week ago, however, it started giving me a lot of trouble! I use Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel a lot, and they suddenly started freezing up and not responding when I initiate simple tasks such as print preview or pasting text in from another program. Occasionally, the programs eventually respond, but I usually end up having to close the programs, which means I can't get much done and I keep losing what little work I do manage to get done! The programs are also taking an unusually long time to load. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Microsoft Office, running a virus scan, and running a malware scan, but nothing seems to help. Do you have any idea why I might be experiencing these problems all of the sudden, or how I might go about solving them? I would greatly appreciate any advice you may have. Thanks! =)
