Please may Someone help me

Every time I render a video on Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 it takes ages ( rubbish laptop) that doesn't bother me, I render it into a High Quality .WMV file and It LAGS like crazy and wont play properly, and on Youtube, when I upload it, that takes ages too but when it finishes it says Check Your Videos or What Ever and it says on the video information "Failed (aborted)" and I did NOTHING!
