I have been trying to watch a DVD on Windows Media Player (I know it's not the speakers or system sound, they work fine) and I have downloaded the K-Lite Standard Pack to fix the problem. I could get video and audio through the previews but as soon as I tried to watch the main movie, poof went the sound. What gives???? I have Windows Media Player 11 (downloaded it after Microsoft website said that would correct the problem) running on Windows XP. I've tried using the Media Player Classic thing but it just kept giving me error messages.


If you can suggest a better DVD playback program that I can download for free that would be great. I am at work so I don't have access to a DVD player so please don't suggest that.
