For STREAMING content, Windows Media Player 12 seems to only display the channel name (stream) but not the details of the currently playing song. For example, these streams yield song names and artist on VLC and Pocket Tunes, but not WM12:

I remember back in Windows 7 Beta (not RC), it worked well. But after that WMP12 just behaved the same way as with WMP11 and earlier (it doesn't display the song details on streams).
