SEO became big right after I finished college, and now I feel behind on the times since they didn't teach us much about it before I graduated. I'm sure colleges out there have great textbooks on SEO now, so I was hoping someone could point me to one. I've seen lots of cheap books like "SEO for Dummies" or whatever, but I'm hoping to find a reputable textbook with good resources. (I'd also love a good textbook on web design, if you happen to know of one.) Thank you!

I've been learning SEO myself for awhile now and I found http://www.bigwords.com to be the most helpful. All i did was type in Serch Engine Optimization and it came up with an array of choices and they were all dirt cheap too. It searched all the online textbook retailers and rental sites for me then compared all the lowest prices to find me the best deal. I ended up finding a really good SEO book on their for about $4. haha. I'd also suggest going to http://www.SEOmoz.org for all the info you would need to get started and build your knowledge. It's a great source. But check out bigwords.com for the books. The best site for that by far. Good luck!
