Yes, open the remove/change programs file and dump it out.
You should be sure to have some alternative PC security. If you want one which is free, try the one I use, it's called AVAST - it is very efficient. It up-dates itself when you go on line and you get an audio msg telling you so, plus you get a loud warning, again audio if any website you are about to download from has a monster bug thing which is about to infect your PC.

If you are unable to dump the Norton thing from your PC programs file, then just switch the damn thing off. There should be an icon in the lower right tray somewhere, click that and then switch off whatever - usually if you switch off the firewall this does the trick. |
