my mum is looking at setting up a website as she is a sole trader. i can write in html on notepad ++ and have use of photoshop for any graphics so can do all that however when it comes to buying domain space im not so sure?

can anyone explain to me exactly what to look out for?

and even more usefully any sites they would recommend?

it doesn't have to hold any files and graphics will be basic so in terms of webspace required i dont need much to make her a website.
