Default How can I fix my audio for windows 7 Ultimate?

Hello everyone, Im having some troubles with the audio in windows 7 ultimate....I have reinstalled the audio drivers more then once ( and yes they did say for windows 7 32bit) and still no sound...My motherboard is an ASRock 775Twins-HDTV..please dont confuse this with its brother the ASRock 775Twins-HDTV R2.0 . After installing it says everything went fine, but when I hook up speakers or headphones I get no sound...if you need any other info please just say so...all your help is greatly appreciated...Thank you...

You may run the troubleshooter and check if this helps. i would suggest you to post back if you get any error messages.

Steps to run troubleshooter:

1. Click Start button, and then click Control Panel.
2. In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click Troubleshooting. Click View all, and then click Playing audio.
3. Follow the instructions of the wizard.

If the issue still persists then, I would suggest you to download and install latest drivers from manufacturers website and check. You may also try installing the drivers in compatibility mode and check.

For further details refer the article mentioned below.
