Default HELP ME computer wont recognise Windows 7 install disk :((?

Ok I have a nice Asus U80V (i bought this in china) and just bought windows 7 (genuine english version from australia) to put on it. However the computer wont recognise the Windows 7 dvd disk. The DVD driver and computer works on every other disk i put into it (so im guessing its not a hardware problem) and Windows 7 install disk is recognised by every other computer i put into it.I have checked bios, msconfig everything that my dad and i can think of and still nothing. The windows dvd keeps spinning away but not being loaded up onto My Computer and unable to explore the disk. The only thing I can think of is that the vista (which is an English pirated version from china) wont read the windows 7 disk. My question is does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it? the only option is to format the entire hard drive (i have already formatted 75% of it) and install windows 7 that way, will that work and fix the problem? someone please help me! (.
