But i am not able to Detect Windows 7 from My Xp computer.
All i want to do is just to be able to use the Printer which is connected to the Windows 7 PC.
I have a Vista Laptop and that connects fine.
I just cant figure out what to do. I tried adding it manually like \(mywindows7)\(printer)
but it says cant detect.
when i check network settings, all i see is my xp computer when im on the xp and nothing else. i put them in the same network group.
Any body any answers?
printer sharing is on, and printer password is off, and windows firewall isnt blocking it.
i dont really know how to do any configuration on the windows 7, its too simplified, i cant seem to go into specific detail... its like they dumbed it way to low for any one to do exactly what they want with it
