Alright I have a problem with my laptop. The other day when I turned it on an error message told me that my factory settings had been returned to the origional settings or something like that. I have windows 7 and when the background oppened up a lot of my settings were changed... EX my background was changed to the default.. and all of my programs such as dreamweaver and photoshop do not work yet my hardrive size did not change at all. I can acess all of my origional files by going to click on my C drive itself......
This is not a big problem on account of I was going to wipe my hardrive soon and re-install my os .. but i was just wondering why it would do this....

I have a theory... it is a school laptop and when I installed windows 7 on it I kept the windows vista drivers ... an error message has always popped up on the startup that said an entry point was missing from the dynamic link library ...or another theory I have is that a while ago I partitioned my hardrive into two parts one for windows 7 and one for windows vista ---- I am wondering if any of that has anything to do with my problem....
Anyway I really dont expect anyone to know exactly what is wrong on account of they are not sitting in front of my computer but if anyone has any sugestions that would be awsome...
