My brother wants to buy a copy of windows 7 home premium 32bit on the student website, now it says the cdkey that comes with it is for 32bit, would that cdkey work if he used my 64bit disk to install 64bit? because i bought the box instore and it came with both versions but only 1 cdkey, thats why im asking.
I have both versions(64 bit and 32bit premium) and he wants to get 32 bit but the site says the cdkey is 32bit, my "combo" came with 1 cdkey leading me to believe that the key works for both versions, now does that mean that his cdkey would work for a 64bit install?
