Default Good PC, newly installed windows 7 and still slow?

Hey guys, I bought the Acer Predator. I can't run games on full settings, even though the PC is suppose to. I reinstalled windows and got Kaspersky Anti Virus 2010 installed (on default settings). What do you think is the matter? I can't play games like Left 4 dead 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2 on full settings.

These are my PC specs:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300
4GB (2 x 2GB) 800MHz DDR2
Dual nVidia GeForce 9600GT 512MB (SLI) Graphics
Dual 640GB hard drives
750W power supply
Formatted all hard drives, reinstalled all software including Windows 7 and drivers. Problem is that I can't play it full settings even though the computer is strong enough to handle it.
