Hi,
I have windows server 2003, and i want make mail server, as i can see, windows server 2003 already have mail server in manage server. The question is, did i need Microsoft exchange server to make a mail server or i only need mail server features in windows server 2003?

And, what a different if I just using mail server features in windows server 2003 and what the different if I installing Microsoft Exchange Server?

Why would Microsoft sell Exchange if you could they had a free mail program? The "Mail" feature you're talking about is just enabling the SMTP protocol, you have to buy Exchange or another type of email server if you want to host your own mail server.
