i created an account on the domain, he logs in ok. i give him permissions to a folder...he still can't access it. i add him to a group who can access the folder and also add him individually and still no go. to make sure it isn't the computer access, i log him into a computer where another user can access the folder, and he still can't access it. any idea of the problem or things i could try?

also, i've noticed the computer he is logging in from isn't in the computer list. i tried to add the computer but i can't figure out how to add the domain as well. the computer will be listed but when i look in the properties, the domain isn't after the computer name like all the others. but even so, a computer that is on the domain he wasn't able to access either.
