Recently i have been informed a about Ubuntu operating system, and since then i searched the whole web for a ( simple ) way to safely install it.
My family uses Windows Vista and they are not much into technology and change, so could someone please help me find a simple step by step way to install Ubuntu while still having Vista operate normally, ( I can choose which operating system i want to use while booting ).

My PC specs. are :
300 GH HDD
32-bit OS Home Premium
Nvidia GeForce 7500 : 500 MB dedicated
2.5 GB RAM
Processor : Intel Core Duo Processor T2250 (2M Cache, 1.73 GHz, 533 MHz FSB)

one more question when Wubi installs Ubunto on a specific drive ( partition ) does that affect the other data on the drive in any way, like for instance format it ?
