Im trying to install the 1996 game "Fable" on my PC. Its an old game thats intended for use on a windows 95 PC but Ive managed to get it working with one problem. When I run the installed game it says "Cant find registry, please re-install".
Ive found someone with a similar problem here:

I followed their fix but this did not work. I assume its something to do with the pathways in the registry, but Im not sure myself.

The registry file I created is as follows:
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\DirectDraw\M ostRecentApplication]
"Name"="FABLE.EXE"
"ID"=dword:3242b732
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Telstar]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Telstar\Fable]
"Path"="C:\Games\Telstar\Fable"
"Installed"=dword:00000001
The game is installed at C:\Software\Telstar\Fable, I have also tried the same method while its installed at C:\Games\Telstar\Fable, this does not work ether.
Running in compatibility mode also does not fix the problem.
