I'm on windows vista and i decided to change my startup and shutdown sounds, i had no problem changing them, but when i click preveiw there is no sound, i then double checked by restarting my computer, but it was just silent. does anybody know how i can fix this?

additional details: some audio sounds are long (about 2 seconds) and the sounds are in my documents (do they need to be in a certain file?) also, they are all .WAV files
