 CPU Usage at 100% on Vista and Windows 7 on same hardware?
My computer is suddenly running at 100% CPU usage. Task Manager shows that it uses 20-40% itself! Here's where it gets weirder... This is on a laptop where I switch out harddrives between a Vista drive and Windows 7 drive. And, I am getting the same problem on both!
Both suddenly just started hitting 100%. I'm tempted to think it's a virus, but it's unlikely that I got the same virus on both harddrives as I don't share files across them. Could it be a hardware issue? |
