 The exclamation point !
The exclamation point ! is a feature unique to Yahoo! Search. It means take me there now!
If you search with a ! added to the end of your favorite Yahoo! product or service name, you bypass search results and go directly to the main page of that product on Yahoo!. For example:
* Type sports! to go directly to the Yahoo! Sports homepage.
* Type mail! for the Yahoo! Mail homepage.
* Type finance! to go to the Yahoo! Finance homepage.
The ! shortcut can be used at the end of most Yahoo! product names. |
